Job Description

Room Cleaning & Maintenance

Bed Making: Strip used linens and replace them with fresh sheets and pillowcases.

Sanitation: Scrub bathrooms, including toilets, showers, and sinks, using proper disinfectants.

Dusting & Vacuuming: Clean all surfaces, furniture, mirrors, and floors/carpets.

Inventory Check: Replenish towels, toiletries (soap, shampoo), and complimentary items like water or coffee.

Requirements

Education: At least a High School Graduate. A vocational course (TESDA NC II in Housekeeping) is a big plus but not always required for smaller hotels.

Physical Fitness: Ability to lift mattresses, carry heavy laundry, and stand for long shifts.

Trustworthiness: Must have a clean record (NBI/Police Clearance) as they will have access to guest rooms and belongings.

Attention to Detail: Ability to spot small stains or dust and ensure the room is "perfect" for the next guest.

Experience: Previous experience in cleaning (even residential) is helpful but they can be trained on the job.
